Looking back, the choice to create LYTHAM GIN was an obvious one. Sara, the creator of LYTHAM GIN is a chemistry graduate who specialised in organic molecules (which are what gives gin its flavour). Paul, the co-founder used to specialise in manufacturing processes and systems at one of the largest food and beverage companies in the world. Our standard package starts at £30pp for a welcome drink, a distillery tour, and three perfect serves. Whilst you enjoy your drinks, Sara our founder and head distiller will entertain you with her talk on "Breaking Good", her journey from science teacher to distiller, including the history and science of gin distilling. If you want to change it up we can customise the event to your requirements and budget, with additional drinks, food from nibbles to a gourmet buffet. If you have people in your party that don't like gin we also offer rum tastings or wine, beer, or non-alcoholic options. As part of the package, each attendee will also receive £10 off any purchases of over £35 at our distillery shop. Group sizes of between 8 and 18 people.

Supporting a Great Children's Hospice Charity.

Mark and his wife Ruth are involved heavily in their community of Chorley

There's the Derian House Santa Run which takes place each November, a couple of their guys help out on the day by marshalling and driving the support vehicle, providing the support vehicle in the form of an Lyndhurst van! (Mark and Ruth) they also run the East Lancs Hospice 10k in January each year.

They are also getting involved in the STEM initiative which is part of the 2018 year of engineering, and participate in the Parklands High School careers events.

One of their apprentices has recently won a national award, he’s come through the apprentice system at Springfields Fuels.

Lastly Lyndhurst Precision Engineering have got through to the finals of the BIBAS award for engineering company of the year, these awards are held by the Chamber of Commerce and are very prestigious, its the first time Lyndhurst have entered so they were pleased to have got so far!
