First day for Stonyhurst Park Marshals to participate in the Senior Open at Royal Lytham.

Great friendly Professional guys making the course perfect for the players, travelled from all over the UK to help out at this event. It was great talking to them all.

Victor was probably the golfer who was most respectful to the Marshal's during his time in the 2019 Senior Open here at Royal Lytham. Extremely friendly, with a great sense of humour.

A true gentleman and I am sure respected by his fellow professionals.

Victor was Spanish Champion of Senior Golfers at Alenda Golf on 23rd November 2018.

Good Luck for the future Victor from us all at Stonyhurst Park Golf Club who Marshalled the Par 3, 12th Hole during the tournament.

During a thunder storm break on Thursday 25th opening day of the Senior Open I had a chat with some lovely people, Ryan, Joy and Nina, they all had that American charm and chased the rain away.

I asked them where they on holiday and it turned out that Nina Nicklaus was the daughter of Gary Nicklaus PGA the son of the Legend Jack Nicklaus. It certainly made my day.
